Inspired by the space where digital and physical forms meet, Wang & Söderström’s Boulder Bookend is a unique sculptural object that serves as a piece of art. Each bookend begins as an organically shaped 3D model developed in their studio before it’s 3D printed and molded in stoneware at a ceramic factory. “We want to explore the tactile side of digital modeling – one foot in the physical realm, one in the digital,” the designers say.
